This tour is for those who like Rome as an ensemble of red roofs and green spots; huge domes blended in a unique nuance of colors. This tour is dedicated to those who like taking pictures and are not afraid of hiking 352 steps to reach the terrace of St Peter’s Cathedral, being Michelangelo’s dome the first site to be visited.

Statue detailFrom the top we get the unique chance to learn something about Vatican City, the papal gardens and Papa Francesco’s residence. St Peter’s Cathedral will be visited together with the marvelous piazza designed by the Baroque master Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Then we reach the impressive St Angel’s Castle, former Mausoleum of Hadrian († C 138 AD), later on transformed into papal residence and prison.

While the stronghold is entirely preserved, the top roof is just the perfect place where ending a Roman journey! The Eternal City is at your feet, a 360° overlook running from St Peter’s Square to the Pantheon, and Tiber river… the lounge bar adds the final touch to all of this: you can rest and revive your Roman experience, while tasting a good glass of wine.
