The tour is held in an exquisite wine bar located in the core of old Frascati, a lovely hamlet laying in the idyllic Alban Hills, just a few miles from the Eternal City. The intimate and relaxing atmosphere invite us to indulge a genuine wine tasting. On summer season a gorgeous terrace complements the location, while granting a charming view to the bell tower dating back to the Middle Ages.
Passionate and professional, the sommelier Alessandro has been working more than 20 years in wine industry, sharing his passion either as leader of historic cellars or as sommelier in top ranked Roman restaurants. When opening a bottle of wine – he refers – a new world is unveiled, a world made of multifaceted nuances uniquely granted by Italian soil. Rather quiet at first, he grows very talkative before his glass of wine. Alessandro is ready to guide you through the intricate shades qualifying each wine.

Goal of the tour is learning how to drink and taste wine. It’s color and perfumes as well as it’s areas of production. How associate wine with food. A walk of Frascati enriches the excursion, bringing into focus Rome’s millenarian legacy, sometimes conflicting, with its surrounding territory. Feel free to take a walk in the narrow alleys of the picturesque Medieval village or give a look to the stunning villas of the Renaissance. All of this together with your guide, who’s ready to escort you in an all-around journey based on a cultural food experience.
